Harrowed is a power trio melding d-beat with the more “modern” hardcore stylings of Cursed or Converge, with some nifty flourishes of powerviolence and doom in the mix for good measure. It’s stripped down and brutal in a non-boneheaded way, yet remains innately melodic, epic and heavy.
Art Of Burning Water continue to sound like themselves much to everyone’s worry, on a mission to annoy all and sundry with their slightly faster take on their usual off-kilter noise-rock with definite hardcore leanings, like a sped up Keelhaul partying with Motorhead.
