New release : DEWAERE Slot Logic out december 14th

We are very happy to announce that we’ll be releasing the first record of Saint-Brieuc’s noise punk quartet DEWAERE. It’s great beacause, it sees our long time friend Hugues finally play drums again. He used to play in 12XU and sing in VEUVE S.S. Here are three songs of the record.

Dewaere is a french noise punk band from Saint-Brieuc claiming to play loud, heavy, noisy rock and influenced by 1990’s bands and postpunk. The band consists of vocalist Maxwell Farrington, guitarist Julien Henry, bassist Marc Aumont and drummer Hugues Le Corre.

If you had to live your last moments amongst piles of rubble, sporting your half shredded swimmers, walking around a pool miraculously still intact, Slot Logic by Dewaere would be the perfect sound track to suit such an apocalyptic occasion.

In amongst the album’s sour guitars and mg42 style rhythms, the intense, boiling sounds from Dewaere peak the adrenaline throws that your first grenade; while the heart drums fast, ready to pounce.

Out december 14th. Co-release with Phantom Records (Germany).

UKANDANZ Awo LP out now !

Hey girls and boys !

We are very happy to say that UKANDANZ Awo LP is out now ! It looks and sounds amazing. But what is UKANDANZ ?

UKANDANZ… a unique style, an unusual meeting between an electric quartet fron Lyon / France and Asnake Guebreyes, charismatic lead singer originates from the vibrant music scene in Addis Abeba / Ethiopia.

Their music is inspired by traditional and popular Ethiopian songs. UKANDANZ has a real crunch energy. Between rock, jazz, noise…

With impertinence, they rock it wildly. Without compromise. Guitar, saxophone, bass, drums and vocals shuffle our bearings. What a pleasure! The stage presence of UKANDANZ swings alternately between energy and emotion… then the public, transcended, dances and shivers.

Recorded, mixed, mastered by Christophe Chavanon between february and july 2015.

Artwork : Florent Decornet |

Asnake Guebreyes – Vocals
Damien Cluzel – Guitar
Benoit Lecomte – Bass
Lionel Martin – Tenor sax
Guilhem Meier – Drums

Vinyl : Dur & Doux, Bigoût Records
CD : Buda Musique
Digital : Atypeek

If you want a copy, go to our online shop here (no color vinyl, no exclusive edition, no deluxe package, no bullshit). Also, we did a package with a totebag, for just one more euro. Take a look.
